The month-long event started with a flag raising on June 1 and has included a reception, a family event, and a Pride party along the waterfront. The event has gathered well over 100,000 members of the LGBTQ community in the past.
Pete Pride is known as Florida’s largest Pride event. “Our twilight parade with the theme, “Out of the Darkness, Into the Light” is a great way for businesses to get involved, have fun and thank the LGBTQ+ community for their loyalty and support,” said Jeff Sterling, CEO of WMEG Community Marketing and Events which organizes the annual celebration.
